One unique attraction of the Yasawas is Sawa-i-Lau’s caves, deep within Yasawa Island’s domed mountain. Shrouded in legend, the caves are an icon of Fijian folklore, often said to be the heart of the Yasawas. There’s plenty to enjoy in the broader beauty of these islands, however. It’s no wonder they were chosen as the backdrop for popular films The Blue Lagoon and Castaway.
