This 14-day Costa Rican long stay takes you to a resort on the Caribbean Coast. It features first-class accommodations, private transfers, optional touring, and is an ideal way to relax for a few weeks in a sunny environment.
Your Caribbean long stay takes you to San Jose, where you’ll meet your driver and transfer to Villas Pina, on the eastern coastline around five hours from the capital. Settle into your very own villa, which comes with air conditioning, a kitchenette, two queen beds, a room safe, and a verandah with gorgeous views of the garden or pool. Enjoy breakfast each morning in the Rancho common area, as well as access to the swimming pool, rooftop sundeck, and nearby beach.
You’ll have two weeks to take advantage of the Caribbean coastline and many attractions in Costa Rica. Rent a car to drive to nearby landmarks and explore the country. Hike through the rainforest, learn to surf on the coastline, go snorkelling in the Caribbean, or relax in natural hot springs. Head to the Arenal Volcano to go sandboarding and enjoy views of the spectacular volcanic peak. Hike through the cloud forests of Monteverde or go birding in Manuel Antonio National Park. Or stick closer to your villa and make the most of the warm beaches and sunny weather.
At the end of your stay, connect back to San Jose to return home, or extend your stay to enjoy all the bounties of Costa Rica.

Arrival to San Jose
On arrival in to San Jose, you will be met at the airport and will be transferred to Villas Pina resort. Drive time is +/- 5 hours. On arrival, you will be checked in to your condo.
A shared transfer service is also available as well as air transfers to Puerto Viejo (+/- 50 minutes in a light aircraft - luggage restrictions may apply) where you would be met and then transferred to the resort. Please inquire.
There is an option to pre-stock with food supplies to get you through the first day or two. Ask your destination expert about the options. You can prepare your own meals and shop at the onsite convenience stores or nearby supermarkets, or eat at the man on site restaurants and or sports bar or search for some local delicacies off site.
The option to have a chef come and cook for you is also available.
There are supermarkets, doctors, private clinic, restaurants and a drug store nearby as well as many on site amenities.
Each villa has air conditioning, hot water, kitchenette w/refrigerator, two queen beds accommodating up to four people, a room safe to secure your belongings, large veranda with garden view, & Wi-Fi.
The Rancho (common area) is where breakfast will be served each morning. Breakfast items include fresh fruits, eggs, juice, gallo pinto and more. The Rancho also has a swimming pool, book exchange, and a large rooftop sun/moon deck for sunning and star gazing.
Simply take a short walk to the private beach path and enjoy the beach, relax by the pool and read a book, rent a bike for the day and visit the town, or let us help schedule your tours.
Car rental options are also available from San Jose airport - self-drive to the resort.
Driving around Costa Rica is a satisfying way to travel. Travel as you please, plan your own day trips and explore as far as you want. Costa Rica has a good network of well-maintained roads and highways and, for the more intrepid; quite a few off the beaten direct roads to take you in to the heart of the country.
