Travelling aboard a luxury yacht, you’ll enjoy world-class comforts and amenities as you head throughout the islands, exploring their volcanic landscapes and spotting their abundant wildlife.

This 5-day Galapagos vacation takes you throughout these biodiverse islands aboard a luxury yacht.

Your Ecuador vacation showcases the wonders of the Galapagos Islands, the world’s most biodiverse set of islands. The M/Y Endemic will be your base on your journey through the islands. As the Galapagos’ newest catamaran, the M/Y Endemic carries a maximum of 16 passengers and offers large interiors, high-end amenities, and gorgeous social areas. Enjoy air-conditioning in your cabin and experience a service ratio of crew to passengers that is almost one-to-one, which guarantees personalized and attentive service.

Your Galapagos adventure begins on Santa Cruz Island, where you’ll visit the gorgeous white-sand beach of Las Bachas, named after the rusted pontoon that’s a relic of World War II. Be careful as you explore so as not to crush the delicate sea turtle eggs that lie along the rim of the beach. Continue to San Cristobal Island, where you’ll climb imposing Witch Hill before taking advantage of its powdery white-sand beach for some swimming. Head on to Kicker Rock to spot the abundant seabirds that call it home and the sea turtles, sharks, and rays that populate the waters. Pass on to Lobos Island to spot blue-footed boobies and frigate birds before snorkelling alongside sea lions in the waters off shore.

Continue to Espanola Island to see the hood-mockingbird that’s endemic to the island. At Osborn and Gardner Bay, snorkel beneath the waters to uncover a breathtaking world of sea turtles, sharks, and sea lions. Venture onwards to Point Suarez where you’ll stroll along the sandy and pebbled beaches and spot the abundant wildlife. Head to Santa Fe Island to cross through a forest of prickly-pear cactuses or volcanic rocks covered with land iguanas and continue to South Plaza Island.

On your final day, you’ll visit Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island, where you’ll learn about the scientific exploits of Charles Darwin, discover the history of the islands, and see the incredible giant tortoises that have been roaming the island since Darwin’s time. At the end of your journey, head back to Baltra to disembark and connect for your flight home.

Day 1

Baltra Airport - Santa Cruz Island Las Bachas Beach

Upon arrival, reception and assistance at the airport, transfer from Baltra Airport to the M/C Endemic.

In the afternoon, visit to Las Bachas, which is a beautiful white-sand beach, located on the northern coast of Santa Cruz Island. There you can go for a stroll or do some easy snorkeling in the gentle surf. Sea turtles lay their eggs at the edge of the vegetation. You can also look for a rusted pontoon, a relic of the Second World War. In fact, "bachas" is a poor pronunciation of "barges," two of which were wrecked offshore at that time: the locals mispronounced the name and it stuck.

Day 2

In the morning, the first spot to be visited is Witch Hill, a tuff cone hill located south west from San Cristobal. This name comes from the Spanish name of the bird known in English as Vermilion Flycatcher.

A zodiac ride will take passengers into amazing rock formations along the island shore. A white sand beach and crystal-clear waters are part of this enchanted location. Fantastic opportunity for snorkeling.

The next attraction to see is Kicker Rock, an impressive geological formation due to erosion. This is a nesting place of sea birds. Additionally, curious sea lions, and marine life can be found, such as fish, turtles, sharks, rays, representing the main attraction for snorkeling. This is a nice spot to take pictures.

In the afternoon, you will be taken to Lobos Island, where a small population of blue-footed boobies, frigates, marine iguanas, and great frigate birds nesting can be observed. Snorkeling with sea lions in this calm bay is also part of the excursion.

It has two trail choices for visitors, one of which takes you to the tallest Opuntia cactus in the Galapagos. While the other trail takes you into the highlands where land iguanas can be seen. After a long walk, the opportunity to swim in calm waters or snorkel with playful sea lions will be pretty tempting.

In the afternoon, island South Plazas is the next island to be discovered. It has unique Sesuvium plants and Opuntia cactuses scattered across the landscape which provide some of the most interesting wildlife observations available in Galapagos. Land iguanas are easily seen from the trail, frequently under the shade of cactuses, waiting for a prickly pear to fall.
