Begin in Buenos Aires, staying in the stunning Recoleta or Palermo districts. A half-day tour gets you acquainted with Argentina’s capital, stopping at the famed Casa Rosada, the colourful La Boca district, and more, before disembarking at Recoleta Cemetery, where you’ll visit Eva Peron’s tomb. Take the rest of the day and evening to explore, then the following day, enjoy a half-day tour of the Tigre Delta, a former swamp transformed into a beautiful waterway that’s become a spiritual home to Argentinians who love to be on the water. In the evening, order up a delicious steak and sit back to take in the beauty and elegance of tango at La Ventana.
Your following day is free to enjoy as you will in Buenos Aires. Shop for souvenirs in San Telmo, explore the gorgeous museums of Recoleta and Palermo, roam the city’s extensive botanical gardens, take a tour of the Teatro Colon, or shop up a storm in the world’s most beautiful bookstore, El Ateneo Grand Splendid, or the famed Galerias Pacifico. In the evening, the Argentine Experience awaits, where you’ll have the chance to make your own local specialties in between delicious steak and wine.
A short flight takes you to Mendoza, the source of much of that lovely Argentinean wine, at the foot of the beautiful Andes. Your first day is at leisure to do as much or as little as you wish, but your second day invites you to tour some of the top local wineries and taste why Argentina has become a world leader when it comes to vino. Return to Buenos Aires for one more night in this magical city before your onward flight.

Half Day Buenos Aires City Tour Private with Guide (Downtown Hotels)

You depart northwards from Buenos Aires. There should be a fantastic view of the la Plata River along the way, the widest river in the world. Arrive in Tigre City, the cradle of the Argentines rowing tradition and one of the biggest deltas in the world. The Tigre Delta is a beautiful countryside resort area just outside of the city and is where the Argentines from all over come to relax and enjoy the fresh air. Learn how the original inhabitants once turned a mosquito infested swamp into what it is today as you pass yacht clubs, water taxis, markets and raised vacation homes. The best way to explore the canals, islands islets is by boat and you will take a catamaran to enjoy the Parana Delta in quiet comfort.
