Day 1

Depart Santiago to Mount Pleasant - Falkland Islands

Upon arrival at Mount Pleasant International Airport, via LAN Chile, you will be personally met and greeted and transfered overland to the Darwin/Goose Green settlement and overnight at Darwin House, an excellent guest house in beautiful surroundings, and a perfect to start to any Falklands itinerary.

Day 2

Darwin/Goose Green

After breakfast enjoy a full day excursion with your driver/guide, Mr. Ken Greenland. Take in Darwin, the site of the Argentine Cemetery, "Goose Green", with its monuments. Also see San Carlos, the site of the British Cemetery and small museum dedicated to the 1982 conflict. A packed lunch is provided.

Day 3

Port Howard or Pebble Island

Transfer to airstrip for your internal FIGAS (Falkland Islands Government Air Service) flight to Port Howard or Pebble Island where you will spend the next two nights.

Port Howard: Take a farm tour as well as a full day guided tour of Port Howard. Port Howard also offers a rather unique golf course and excellent sea trout fishing.

Pebble Island: A full day guided tour is included taking in the HMS Coventry memorial and wildlife locations.

Day 4

Port Howard or Pebble Island

Various tour options are available, battle and wildlife orientated, which will be discussed on arrival. If Pebble Island is preferred, 1 x full day guided tour is included taking in the HMS Coventry memorial.

Port Howard also offers a rather unique golf course and excellent sea trout fishing.

Day 5

Sea Lion Island

Depart on your Internal FIGAS flight to Sea Lion Island where you spend the next two days exploring.

Sea Lion Island is a prime wildlife location which is easily accessible on foot and you may explore the island at leisure. However, an introductory excursion has been included to help familiarize you with the island's layout and wildlife locations.

Day 7

Stanley

Fly from Sea Lion Island to Stanley where you will meet your driver/guide and continue in a 4x4 vehicle to Volunteer Point. Travelling overland in a 4x4 vehicle passing Johnsons Harbour, you will arrive at Volunteer Beach where the largest colony of breeding King Penguins, over 1000 pairs, will be seen along with Gentoo and Magellanic. A packed lunch will be provided.

Or if preferred, you may exclude the Volunteer Point trip and have the remainder of the day at leisure to explore Stanley and surrounding areas.

Stanley to Santiago

This morning you have a final opportunity to explore Stanley, the islands small capital and shop for souvenirs! In the afternoon transfer to Mount Pleasant International Airport for your onward journey.
