US$ 2,581

Jump between San Cristobal, Santa Cruz, and Isabela Island to explore the biodiverse Galapagos Islands. Survey giant tortoises at La Galapaguero de Cerro Colorado on San Cristobal, explore the volcanic Twin Craters of Santa Cruz, and spot sea lions and marine iguanas at their nesting grounds off Isabela Island.

This 6-day tour explores the Galapagos Islands by land, sending you on day trips to visit its world-renown national parks and marine reserves.

Island hop across the Galapagos Islands, one of the most biodiverse set of islands in the world. On your Galapagos tour across the islands you’ll explore lava flows, swim in fantastic crystal-blue lagoons, and spot some of the most exotic wildlife on the planet. Starting on San Cristobal, you’ll head to El Junco Lagoon to swim the waters of an extinct volcano crater. Then head to La Galapaguero de Cerro Colorado, a giant tortoise breeding centre, to see the tortoises that enchanted Charles Darwin over 150 years ago. On Santa Cruz you can head to Green Beach to see how the olivine crystals cause the sand to appear green or Flour Sand Beach, where finely ground coral has the consistency of flour. You can also head to the famous Twin Craters in the highlands or pass through the lava tunnels to get a sense of the island's volcanic landscape.

Pass into the White-Tipped Reef Shark Channel off Isabela Island to see sea turtles, marine iguanas, and rays, as well as the reef sharks that give the channel its name. Then relax on a white sandy beach that’s home to a sea lion colony and a marine iguana nesting site. Close out your exploration of the Galapagos by walking the lava trails of Isabela Island. This island hop around the Galapagos Islands is a perfect way to explore the islands and get a taste for exotic local life.
