Itinerary

Day 1

Buenos Aires

On arrival into Buenos Aires you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2

Buenos Aires City Tour and Tango Show and Dinner

Get intimately acquainted with Buenos Aires during a tour highlighting the city’s major neighbourhoods and attractions.

Among the points of interest you will see are Main Square Plaza de Mayo surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Presidential Headquarters Office), the Cabildo (Colonial Town Hall) and the Cathedral.

Drive through the charming streets of San Telmo and down the colorful roads of La Boca, famous for its multicolor tin houses. Later visit elegant Barrio Norte on your way to the Recoleta Cemetery; an amazing aboveground cemetery lined with mausoleums and statues.

Finally, visit Palermo and its magnificent mansions and parks.
Café Tortoni founded in 1858, is the oldest coffee shop in the entire country. With a very rich history, it is visited by intellectuals, politicians and artists and travellers!

Discover the history of Argentina’s tango, the sensual rhythm of life in Buenos Aires all while sampling great food and wine.

From the porteño waterfronts at the turn of last century to Piazzolla’s avant-garde vision, Tango remains Argentina’s premier musical art form. La Ventanas Tango’s dancers, singers and band have been acclaimed as some of Argentina’s best.

Day 3

Buenos Aires and Parrilla Tour

Today you partake in a quintessential Argentinean experience – the Parrilla.

Parrillas are Argentine steakhouses offering the most traditional of Buenos Aires cuisine. Most visitors to the city only dine at the most touristy parrillas published in guidebooks and sadly miss out on some of the city’s most delicious gems. To experience and taste authentic Porteño flavors, you will journey on a culinary tour of the city, and discover local hole-in-the wall restaurants enjoying traditional parrilla foods in each.

Enjoy excellent Argentine wine, learn about Argentina’s culture and cuisine, visit one of the best artisanal “heladerias” (ice cream shops) in the city and meet others during the relaxed and social tour.

Day 4

Buenos Aires

The day is free to explore on your own. Why not consider a bike tour around the city or simply wander the streets and sample local cafes and galleries.

Tonight enjoy an interactive dining experience in Recoleta. Chefs and guides will teach you about Argentine cuisine and culture.

Guests participate in preparing 5 classic Argentine cooking activities: make your own traditional empanadas, enjoy grilled provoleta cheese with sliced chorizo sausage and homemade chimichurri, learn about and enjoy unlimited Malbec wine, make your own alfajores (Argentina’s national sweet) and finally be taught about the history and etiquette of mate (Argentina’s tea and a national pastime).
