Day 2

Lima

You will visit the modern and colonial part of the city of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting with the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro before heading to the Historic Center. Once there, you will visit the Main Square, where you can take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. Then, walk to the Chocolate Museum to have an exquisite experience with Peruvian cocoa. Afterwards, you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, before heading back. You will pass through Huaca Huallamarca before reaching Miraflores, where you will get off at Love Park to take stunning photos of the landscape of the Lima coast.

Day 3

Lima

The most representative flavors of Peruvian cuisine will be waiting for you. You will embark on an unforgettable culinary adventure, beginning your journey in a typical Peruvian market. There you will discover a wide variety of national inputs, among which you will find traditional Peruvian fruits such as cherimoya, lucuma and aguaymanto. If you are a seafood lover, there is no doubt that you will be surprised with the several species of fish and shellfish that are available at the market. Then, you will visit an exclusive Lima restaurant, where you will learn how to prepare pisco sour and ceviche, two worthy representatives of the Peruvian flavor. Finally, you can enjoy a delicious lunch with the most important Peruvian dishes.

Day 4

Lima to Cusco

Transfer from the hotel to the Airport.
Arrival at Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

You will visit the most outstanding archaeological sites near the city of Cusco. You will start with Sacsayhuaman, an Inca construction that stands out for its enormous carved stone walls and for having a wide view of the city of Cusco. Continue with a visit to Puca-Pucará, place that would have served as "tambo" or resting place and accommodation of the Inca. Afterwards, you will visit the archaeological site of Tambomachay, a place that would have had an important religious function during that time. Finally, you will visit Kenko, an archaeological site where the Sun, Moon and Stars were celebrated.

You will visit Cusco by night, a city which is also called the Imperial City and that has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour will start at the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church. Continue with a stop at the San Cristóbal viewpoint, from where you will have a privileged view of the city. Then, you will head towards the Main Square to walk towards a renowned bar in the city, where you will take part in a lesson on how to prepare the traditional pisco sour.

Day 5

Cusco

The restaurant at the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art (MAP), located in the beautiful patio of a colonial house, will offer you a cooking class inside its kitchen, where you will learn about the preparation of the best dishes in Andean food. Then, enter the museum to appreciate its fabulous collection of pre-Columbian art. Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner or lunch in a sophisticated and cozy atmosphere.

Day 6

Chincheros to Sacred Valley

You will set off for Chinchero, a charming valley town, to witness how the townsfolk spin and weave using traditional Andean techniques that they have preserved. Nearby is the town of Maras, you will visit its salt pans where one of the finest salts in the world is extracted. Next, you will travel to Moray and tour the enormous circular and semi-circular agricultural terraces built into the top of a hill overlooking the Urubamba Valley and used by the Incas as a botanical laboratory. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train the best way to start your visit. When you arrive, you will start the ascent to the ruins, which will without a doubt be one of your most unforgettable experiences. At Machu Picchu you can see one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and take some impressive photos.
