Experience two distinct countries with their many amazing attractions: Brazil and Argentina. Start off in Brazil’s most colourful city, Rio de Janeiro, the Samba capital, before heading to Iguassu Falls and finally Buenos Aries, the Argentine capital and home of Tango.

This 9-day Holiday of a Lifetime promises the best accommodations, guides, and cultural experiences on your journey through Brazil and Argentina.

Begin in Rio, the Brazilian capital, set on one of the world’s most stunning harbours. Enjoy the breathtaking views from the top of Corcovado Mountain and have a cable car ride up Sugar Loaf Mountain enjoying more exceptional views. See how the local Cariocas spend their time on the world renowned exotic beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema. Spend a day on a walking tour through the heart of Rio, visiting the Sambadrome, where the world-famous Carnaval takes place each year, and Samba City, where its elaborate costumes and floats are made.

Then it’s on to Iguassu Falls which border Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Stay on the Brazilian side but take in the outstanding panoramic views from both the Brazilian and Argentinian sides for spectacular views of this natural phenomenon. Consider an optional helicopter ride to enhance your experience.

Then head south to Argentina’s cosmopolitan capital, Buenos Aires, with its wide boulevards and sophisticated neighborhoods. Get to know the city with a visit to the colourful La Boca district where the Tango originated and upscale Recoleta, home to the extraordinary and unique mausoleums found in the local cemetery, including the one housing the grave of Eva (Evita) Peron. The ever present tango is part of your Buenos Aires experience; you will have dinner at a local café featuring a first class tango show. While in the city, you’ll also head on a trip to a traditional hacienda outside the city to enjoy traditional folk songs and dances accompanied by a typical Argentine grill with local wines.

Complete your stay with a return to Buenos Aires and a sightseeing tour, followed by a Parrilla culinary tour in the evening, during which you’ll enjoy a sampling of Argentina’s incredible food culture and enjoy a delicious farewell meal.

We will visit on the upper circuit; stop at different viewpoints along the way, and then reach the balcony at Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). No doubt, this is the most amazing of all falls: water falls down from 80 meters.

After the falls visit, you’ll have lunch at the La Selva Restaurant, and in the afternoon upon return to the Belmond hotel in Brazil, there is also a chance to take an optional helicopter tour over the falls, explore the natural wonder even further close up nearby your hotel, or, for the adventurous, get wet and up close on a motor boat ride towards the base of the falls themselves.
