There are two available entrances for Machu Picchu. Morning visit valid from 600AM to 1200PM midday and an afternoon entrance valid from 1:00PM to 5:00PM with a maximum stay of 4 hours in each admission period. The below tour is the afternoon option.

You will be met by your guide you upon disembarking from your train, at the Aguas Calientes train station. Otherwise, you will board the first available bus down the hill to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will continue to your chosen accommodation.

If you are returning to Cusco, at the shuttle bus terminal in Aguas Calientes, your guide will be waiting to assist with boarding your train for your return to Cusco (departures range from approx. 4:00PM to 5:30PM- schedules vary and subject to change without notice). If you suffer from Vertigo or have a fear of heights you may not be able to complete this climb. You should allow 1.5 to 2 hours round trip to do Huayna Picchu.
