Your trip to Argentina begins in El Calafate, a small town on the banks of Lago Argentino. Board the M/V Santa Cruz, a state-of-the-art vessel with 20 comfortable cabins and modern facilities ready to take you to the glaciers of Los Glaciares National Park. Aboard M/V Santa Cruz, you’ll cruise across the lake, passing through the Boca del Diablo as you make for Spegazzini Glacier. Walk up to the foot of the glacier and take in the stunning panoramic views before cruising along the glacier’s imposing ice walls, which reach up to 135 metres in height. Pass onto Brazo Norte to see a colourful series of ice floes before heading to Perito Moreno, the most popular glacier in the region. Explore the 2.5 kilometre-long foot of the glacier and witness ice calve from its massive walls before returning to El Calafate to disembark.

Embark
Transfer from El Calafate to Lago Argentina where you will board your vessel at the Le Soledad docks. After settling in, begin your journey onto the glacier fed lake to Puesto de las Vacas passing through Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo the narrowest passage on the lake.

Lago Argentina
After a delicious breakfast explore Puesto de las by foot and witness the stunning panoramic views of the Spegazzini glacier for yourself.
Re board and stop in front of Spegazzini glacier with ice walls of up to 135 meters (443 feet). After lunch, visit Brazo Norte with the immense series of ice floes of varying colors and shapes. If the weather conditions are good, you will visit the Upsala glacier 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) wide and a total surface area of 900 km2 (347 square miles).

Disembark
After a dawn breakfast and a visit to the continental ice shelf, head to the most famous of all glaciers in the area, Perito Moreno. Travel around the 2.5 kilometer front (1.5 miles) and be witness the power of nature as the glacier snaps crackles and roars as huge piece of ice 'calve' from the glacier face. Lunch with the glacier and its sounds as a backdrop. Return to the dock late afternoon before returning to Calafate.
