Itinerary
Bogota to Villa de Leyva
An early morning start to the day will begin with your journey by land from your hotel in Bogota to the beautiful town of Villa de Leyva, one of Colombia's most popular colonial towns which lies only two and a half hours north of the capital city. Founded in 1572, and declared a National Monument in 1954, Villa de Leyva kept its charm from colonial times, still you will find its little stone paved streets and wide open main square to be one of a timeless place. In the afternoon hours you will take a short two-hour walking tour through the town, and later back to your hotel for the evening.
