This 6-day tour takes you from Madrid through Andalusia before returning to Madrid. It features first-class accommodations, escorted coach tours, and is perfect for first-time visitors to Spain.

From Madrid, drive to Caceres to explore the old town of this UNESCO World Heritage Site before turning to Cordoba, the former capital of Moorish Spain. In Cordoba, you’ll see the famous mosque (now used as a cathedral) and explore the Jewish Quarter.

Continue to Seville, the Andalusian capital and the birthplace of flamenco. A mourning tour showcases the Cathedral and Maria Luisa Park, before giving you the afternoon to explore at your own pace and perhaps take in a flamenco show in the evening. Head to the coastline and you’ll have a night at Costa del Sol, one of the most popular tourist areas in the country. Spend an afternoon relaxing on a beach and strolling along waterfront promenades before continuing to Granada, the former Moorish stronghold that’s home to the fabled Alhambra. Enjoy a tour of the Alhambra before taking in a Gipsy Flamenco show later in the evening.

On the final leg of your journey, you’ll pass through Toledo, the former Spanish capital and the City of the Three Cultures, where Jewish, Muslim, and Christian citizens have coexisted for centuries, before returning to Madrid to close out your vacation.

Day 1

Madrid - Caceres - Cordoba

Depart from a central meeting point at 8:30 a.m. in Madrid and drive westwards towards Extremadura, home of many New World Discoverers. Arrive in the Caceres, the capital of the province, also declared a World Heritage City. Enjoy some free time to walk through the old town with its ancient walls and medieval quarter. Afterwards, continue on driving south towards Cordoba, once the capital of the Caliphate. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 6

Granada - Toledo - Madrid

Drive northward where it emerges, toward the sky of Castilla and surrounded by the Tagus River, towards the impressive Imperial city of Toledo, a World Heritage City where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Take a brief guided tour of this historical old town through its narrow streets as you learn about Spanish art, history and spiritual. Then proceed to a famous 'Damasquinado' (gold and silver inlaying an iron) factory. After you visit, you will return back to Madrid.
