Journey through Spain while staying in first-class accommodations and travelling in the company of an experienced tour manager. Spend two full days in Madrid. Then explore Andalusia to see Seville and the Alhambra in Granada before stopping in Barcelona on the way back to Madrid.


This 7 day Spanish vacation takes you along the Mediterranean coastline to explore Andalusia and other highlights of Spain. It includes first-class accommodations, escorted tours, and is perfect for first-time visitors to Spain who want to deep-dive into its diverse cultural history.

From Madrid, your first stop is Cordoba, where you’ll see the famous mosque and explore the Jewish Quarter. You’ll then reach Seville, the Andalusian capital and the birthplace of flamenco. A morning tour showcases the Cathedral and Maria Luisa Park, before giving you the afternoon to explore at your own pace and perhaps take in a flamenco show in the evening. The next day, drive along the Caliphate Road to Granada, the former Moorish stronghold that’s home to the fable Alhambra. Enjoy a tour of the Alhambra before taking in a Gipsy Flamenco show later in the evening.

Continue along the Mediterranean Coastline into Valencia, the home of paella and the City of Arts and Sciences. Take a city tour to see the Old City along the banks of the Turia and pass by the massive planetarium and aquarium that captures the city’s scientific appeal. Turn north and pass through Tarragona on route to Barcelona. You’ll have a full day to explore the city, see some of Gaudi’s most famous buildings such as La Pedrera and Casa Mila, and take in the Catalonian capital’s distinct character.

On the final leg of your journey, head southwest and pass through Zaragoza, the capital city of Aragon, and see its famous Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, before returning to Madrid, where you’ll have a final night before departing back home.

Day 1

Madrid to Seville

Depart from a central meeting point at 8:30 a.m. in Madrid and drive along La Mancha, Don Quixote's land, including a brief stop to a typical site in Puerto Lapice. Cross through the natural border of "Despenaperros" as you arrive into Andalusia, a region known for its enormous historical and cultural heritage. Upon arriving in Cordoba, enjoy a tour of its iconic Mosque and stroll through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. Continue towards Seville. Enjoy dinner at the hotel.

After breakfast, enjoy a morning panoramic city tour including a visit to the exterior of the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de Espana. In the afternoon, you are free to explore this fascinating city at your own pace. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the hotel with an optional tour to see a traditional Flamenco Show.

Seville to Granada

Today you will drive east through the Caliphate road towards the heart of Andalusia. Enjoy the landscapes of the endless olive trees on your way to Granada, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world famous Alhambra Complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the "Tales of the Alhambra" by W. Irving. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel with an optional tour to see a Gipsy Flamenco show at Sacromonte quarter. Day 5

Valencia to Barcelona

Enjoy a morning city tour of Valencia as drive through the old city showing the most prominent buildings and towards the old riverbed of the Turia. You will also see the most avant-garde complex "Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias" to watch the emblematic exteriors of the six buildings. Your journey continues northward along the Mediterranean Coast to Catalunya, via Tarragona, the Roman Tarraco. In the late afternoon, you will reach Barcelona, home of the famous architect Gaudí, the symbol of the Catalonian modernism.

Explore this city at your leisure and see its impressive Baroque architecture including the Basilica, Temple of Our Lady Pilar. Your final stop will be Madrid.
