10 Days
Prices From:
US$ 2,550

Discover the South of Spain on this 10-day tour through Andalusia. Staying in first-class accommodations, you’ll explore Barcelona and see Gaudi’s masterworks before heading to Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, and Toledo to explore Spanish history and see landmarks like the Alhambra.

This 10-day Spanish vacation takes you through the highlights of Andalusia, starting in Barcelona and ending in Madrid. It features first-class accommodations, escorted tours, and is ideal for first-time travellers to Spain with a taste for culture.

Your trip to Spain begins in Barcelona, the heart of Catalonia and Spain’s artistic capital. You’ll spend a full day on a city tour exploring the city’s highlights and the masterworks of Antoni Gaudi, including La Sagrada Familia, the massive church that has yet to be completed after over a hundred years of construction. Take the next day to see whichever sights you missed, including the labyrinthine streets of Barri Gotic and the once-sleepy fishing neighbourhood of Barceloneta.

From Barcelona, connect to Madrid, the Spanish capital that’s home to some of the world’s best bars and restaurants. You’ll have a full day in Madrid to see some of the highlights, including the Renaissance buildings along Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa, and squeeze in a visit to the 18th-century Royal Palace, the home of the royal family and one of Europe’s most opulent residences. From Madrid, drive through La Mancha, where Miguel de Cervantes set the famous tales of Don Quixote, and cross into Andalusia, where Spain’s Moorish history still looms large over a millennium later.

First stop is Cordoba, where you’ll see the famous mosque and explore the Jewish Quarter. You’ll then reach Seville, the Andalusian capital and the birthplace of flamenco. A morning tour showcases the Cathedral and Maria Luisa Park, before giving you the afternoon to explore at your own pace and perhaps take in a flamenco show in the evening. The next day, drive along the Caliphate Road to Granada, the former Moorish stronghold that’s home to the fabled Alhambra. Enjoy a tour of the Alhambra before taking in a Gipsy Flamenco show later in the evening.

On the final leg of your journey, you’ll stop in Toledo, the former Spanish capital and the City of the Three Cultures, to explore its Old Town, where Jewish, Muslim, and Christian history comes alive. You’ll then return to Madrid for a final night before returning back home the next day.
