The hotel is an old medieval court located in a residential area of the historical centre of Conversano, (Town Art). It stands on a hill, 8 km far from the sea, near the area of the _trulli_ and the _grottoes_. In 1100 a beautiful and young lady. Sybil Hauteville lived here; she was Robert Curthose's wife, who was William II the Conqueror's son. Following an accurate restoration, a very unusual complex of antique dwellings, located within the walls of the Medieval Hauteville Palace, has been transformed into a receptive centre with hotel rooms, elegant suites and apartments where original stone-built rooms with whitewashed plasters, barrel vaults and wooden beams do charm the guests. Special attention to the details in order to make everything elegant and sumptuous, between the past and the present, and harmonious contrast between the modern and the antique.
