US$ 4,523

For those seeking a unique style of Ireland tour, rail vacations aboard Belmond Grand Hibernian are sure to deliver. The train offers 3-day and 5-day journeys, as well as a 7-day journey that combines the first two itineraries. All itineraries begin and end in Dublin and include daily meals, drinks, excursions, and guides.

Ireland is already a magical destination. Stepping aboard the luxurious Belmond Grand Hibernian lets you enjoy its highlights on an indulgent and sophisticated 3, 5, or 7-day journey, depending on your chosen service.

All Belmond Grand Hibernian trips depart from Dublin, the capital and cultural centre of Ireland. If this is your first visit, consider devoting an extra day or two to the city, as there’s much to explore. Take a stroll through Trinity College, roam Dublin Castle, take a tour of the Guinness Storehouse, or pull up a pint at the touristy, but iconic and undeniably fun Temple Bar.

For a quick taste of Ireland, the 3-day itinerary takes you up to Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland and home to The Titanic Experience, where you’ll enjoy an expertly guided tour. Back on the train, go on to the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s most famous natural formation, featuring 40,000 perfectly interlocking basalt columns. After brunch onboard, visit Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the 400-year-old Old Bushmills Distillery, with the opportunity to enjoy a tasting.

Prefer to head west and south? Take the 5-day trip, starting in Cork, enjoying an evening tour of the Jamison distillery. See beautiful Ross Castle, and enjoy an evening’s entertainment with local musicians. Then head to Galway, one of Ireland’s liveliest student towns and the Bohemian centre of Ireland. You’ll take a city tour and visit one of the local craft centres for a demonstration, before lunch at a local pub. Finally, visit Westport, exploring Ashford Castle in picturesque Connemara National Park. Enjoy a taste of Irish estate life here, perhaps trying some fishing or clay pigeon shooting before watching a sheepdog trial.

Can’t decide? Enjoy the ultimate weeklong luxury Ireland tour, combining both itineraries into a 7-day trip.
