Duration
9 Days
Prices From:
US$ 3,948

DELUXE | TAILOR-MADE: Embark on a vacation befitting royalty on this trip to the Emerald Isle, staying in some of its most impressive castles. Start in Dublin and journey east to west to stay at Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, Ashford Castle, and Dromoland Castle, where you’ll enjoy pampering luxury and leisure time to explore the countryside and historical attractions.

This 9-day Irish vacation takes you to stunning castle hotels and Stays of Distinction across Ireland. It features deluxe accommodations in castle hotels, independent touring, and is a luxurious way to see the Irish countryside.

The journey begins in Dublin, the Irish capital, where you’ll stay at Clontarf Castle Hotel, a castle set away in a tranquil part of Dublin near the Irish Sea and several golf courses. Spend a day in the capital seeing the sights with the help of the Dublin Pass, which gives you free access and fast track entry to 25 different attractions across the city, including the Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, and Dublin Zoo. After exploring the city at your own pace and taking advantage of the hop-on hop-off bus tour to get around town, you’ll head outside of the city and connect to Abbeyglen Castle Hotel, a stunning castle overlooking the quaint village of Clifden. Spend a day at leisure in the countryside, taking in attractions like the Benedictine monastery of Kylemore Abbey on the grounds of Kylemore Castle, or the lush greenery of Connemara National Park. You can also tee up at the Connemara Golf Links.

Connect onward to Ashford Castle, a 5-star castle hotel dating back to the 13th century. You’ll have another day of leisure where you can explore the castle grounds and area around Galway. Tee up for some more golf, visit the old fortification of Guinness Tower, or learn about a Hollywood classic at The Quiet Man Museum. Your final stop is Dromoland Castle, another castle hotel set on a beautiful estate conveniently located near County Clare and County Limerick. Visit the nearby Cliffs of Moher to watch waves break against the towering cliffs or see the remnants of Quin Abbey, a medieval Franciscan monastery.

At the end of your stay, you’ll connect to Shannon Airport to continue on to your next destination or head back home.
