FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR-MADE: Experience history and culture while relaxing in first-class accommodations on this vacation through the north west of England. Visit Manchester to experience the heart of football fandom, discover the history of the Beatles at the Beatles Story Museum in Liverpool, and venture across lake and over hill in the breathtaking Lake District.

This 7-day England vacation takes you through the North of England to explore Manchester, Liverpool, and the Lake District. Stay in premium accommodations as you see the highlights of North England.

Your trip to England begins in Manchester, the world’s capital for all things football. In the past, Manchester was one of the key cities of the Industrial Revolution, but today, it’s synonymous with the world’s most popular sport and is best known as the home to Manchester United FC and Manchester City FC. Take advantage of the Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing tour to visit the most popular landmarks in the city, including the National Football Museum, the Museum of Science & Industry, and Old Trafford, the stadium for Manchester United.

From Manchester, connect to Liverpool, the other football-obsessed northern English city that fueled the Industrial Revolution. Although it used to be rundown, Liverpool has experienced an urban revitalization, best embodied by the gorgeous waterfront that unites the city and showcases innovation while honouring the city’s rich history. During your time in Liverpool, you’ll head on a walking tour to see the waterfront, the Albert Docks, and Radio City Tower, You’ll then head to the Beatles Story Museum to learn about the Beatles, the city’s most famous citizens and the greatest rock band of all time.

Your England vacation ends by connecting you to Windermere in the Lake District, the most beautiful corner in all of England. You’ll embark on a full-day tour through the district’s landscape of mountains, valleys, and lakes. Head on a lake cruise and explore the 4,000-year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle before strolling through a landscape of picturesque villages and waterfalls. Be sure you have your camera handy; this is a photographer’s paradise. At the end of your tour, you’ll connect back to the train station to continue your onward journey.

This trip through the North of England makes for a great addition to a longer United Kingdom vacation.
