12 Hours

On request
  • Spend a day of your Ireland vacation exploring Belfast and the magical Giant`s Causway

We depart Dublin and make our way towards Northern Ireland through the beautiful countryside. We'll stop for light refreshments en-route. After crossing the border we travel through the green Glens of Antrim, along this fantastic coastal drive with views of Rathlin Island and Scotland's shores in the distance. Your state-of-the-art Mercedes Benz tour vehicle holds no more than 16 passengers for maximum comfort.

Giant's Causeway is considered one of the natural wonders of the world, the Causeway is formed by more than 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns that were created by volcanic activity 60 million years ago. The Giant's Causeway is reputed to be the walkway used by Finn McCool, the legendary Irishman who fought Scottish giant Benandonner to steal the most beautiful girl in the highlands. This will also be our lunch stop where one can enjoy local cuisine in a good pub or café. Enjoy at least two hours and thirty minutes at leisure.

Next we head to Northern Ireland's capital of Belfast where you have two options to choose from. We are in Belfast for 2 hours. The cost is included in either scenario:
A) The legendary ocean liner RMS Titanic was built here in Belfast's docklands, once the leading shipyard in the world. Why not visit the Titanic Experience? Opened on the 100th anniversary of the ship's sinking, the exhibition brings to life how 40,000 workers built the famed vessel and the tragic sinking on her maiden voyage in 1912. You will have the opportunity to experience original artifacts and virtual reality exhibits.
B) Black Taxi Tour of Belfast's neighbourhoods with their infamous political murals and peace wall (security fence which separates British Unionist & Irish Nationalist housing estates). Your local taxi guide will be able to answer any questions you might have about what it was like to experience the conflict known as the Troubles (1969-1998).

We depart Belfast and make our way to Dublin after an awe-inspiring day.
