Duration
9 Days
Prices:
On request

Ignite your senses on a journey through Southern Italy. Heading from Naples to Minori, Ravello, and Positano, you’ll step back in time to the days of the Roman Empire, tour ancient cities, visit pastel-hued villages, and savour exquisite regional delicacies.

This 9-day Italian vacation takes you to charming coastal towns and villages along the Amalfi Coast.

Your trip to Italy begins in Naples, the treasure of the Amalfi Coast and the birthplace of Neapolitan culture. In Naples, you’ll have just enough time to explore the historical city centre and see the Veiled Christ statue inside Cappella Sansevero before heading to Pompeii to explore an ancient Roman city that was engulfed in volcanic ash during the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Spend the evening in Paestum, an ancient Greek city dating back to 600B.C. Continue to Tenuta Seliano where you’ll learn about buffalo mozzarella and enjoy a cooking lesson. Head on to Minori, a charming commune along the coastline that’s known for its incredible pastries and ancient Roman sites.

Minori will be your home base as you explore the nearby towns and villages of the Amalfi. In the resort town of Ravello, head to a lemon farmhouse to learn about the Italian delicacies of limoncello, lemon salad, and lemon gelato. In Amalfi, you’ll head on a walking tour across the steep cliffs to see the charming historical buildings along the coastline. In chic Positano, visit a ceramics specialist to learn about this ancient Italian craft and join a ceramic colouring class. Cruise to the island of Capri to ride the funicular up to the island summit and journey through the breathtaking lemon groves, gardens, and narrow lanes that define the island.

While staying in Minori, you’ll also visit Maiori and Vietri to learn more about ceramics, admire the coastline, and enjoy a farewell dinner before you begin your journey back to Naples. On the way back to Naples, stop by the 18th-century royal palace of Caserta, known for its opulent Baroque architecture. You’ll also visit a farmhouse in Sant’Agata de’Goti to sample some Falanghina wines, made from rare black grapes, before reaching Naples and ending your vacation.
