Escape to Ireland

Duration
7 Days
Prices From:
US$ 819

Explore the enchanting west coast of Ireland and some of its most famous highlights. This tour is a perfect trip for those who want to travel with a group that feels like family, but be given free time to discover what interests you most.

This 7-day Ireland vacation is an easy round-trip from Dublin, taking you to such beloved parts of the country as bohemian Galway, the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, and of course, Blarney Castle.

Check into your Dublin hotel and spend the night, shaking off any jetlag, or seeing some of the capital’s highlights. Maybe order up a welcoming pint at Temple Bar or stroll the grounds of Trinity College. Then set out the following day for Galway, stopping in at Locke’s Distillery, the oldest legal distillery in the world. Spend the night exploring the legendary pubs and music venues of Galway, long an artist’s haven with a large student population.

Depart for Killarney, your gateway to the Cliffs of Moher and some of the most picturesque country in Ireland. Spend a day exploring the Dingle Peninsula, home to ancient forts, religious monuments, and striking natural formations, not to mention charming Dingle itself. Spend the next day at the Ring of Kerry, seeing Ireland’s tallest mountain, the Cathersiveen ring fort, and other natural sights like Moll’s Gap, the Ladies View, and Torc Waterfall.

No visit to Ireland is complete without a visit to Blarney Castle. Whether you attempt to kiss the famous stone is up to you (and to some extent, the weather) but the history of the castle and the beauty of the nearby town more thanjustifies the stop. Finish off with a final pint in Kilkenny before spending your last scheduled night in Dublin.
