Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. This magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church domes is mirrored on the surface of the swan-filled Vltava River. Almost undamaged by WWII, Prague's medieval centre remains a wonderful mixture of cobbled lanes, walled courtyards, cathedrals and countless church spires all in the shadow of her majestic 9th century castle.

Your 3 nights in Prague include a walking tour of the Old Town and the Jewish Ghetto followed by a cruise on a riverboat for a different viewing perspective. Later, have lunch at a charming 17th Century restaurant and then enjoy a tram ride to the Lesser Quarter for panoramic views of the city. This is followed by a tour of the awe-inspiring Hradcany Castle (Prague Castle) and a walk over the enchanting and interesting Charles Bridge.

The next day brings a trip to the UNESCO World Heritage nominated town of Cesky Krumlov. This medieval town is an absolute delight with its 300 well preserved old houses. Visit the Cesky Krumlov Chateau and the Castle, the second largest after the one in Prague.

Head to Berlin next by train for a 3 night stay. Berlin is the capital city of and the largest city in Germany. It is best known for its historical associations as the German capital, lively nightlife, its many cafés, clubs, and bars, street art, and numerous museums, palaces, and other sites of historic interest. Berlin's architecture is quite varied. Here you will see all the highlights of Berlin on a, at your leisure, Hop On, Hop Off bus tour which can include the Reichstag, the newly rebuilt Potsdamer Platz and the flashpoint of the Cold War and Checkpoint Charlie where you can witness for yourself how the city has been constantly on the move plus many more highlights.

Another day, enjoy a special combination of sightseeing and culinary delights on a gourmet tour in Berlin. The Gourmet Liner will enchant you with delicious food and a unique atmosphere as you explore the famous sights of the German capital. This mobile restaurant-bus has a built-in catering kitchen and a luxurious lounge atmosphere. During the tour, your guide will regale you with exciting history, contemporary Berlin stories, insider knowledge, and the capital's newest trends. Enjoy a delicious meal as you look out at the most beautiful places in the city.

From Berlin, take the train to Amsterdam for a further 3 night stay. Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, is sometimes known as the “Venice of the North” because of its many beautiful canals that criss-cross the city, its impressive architecture and its more than 1,500 bridges. It has all the advantages of a big city: rich culture, lively nightlife, international class restaurants and a good transportation system. Here explore the city on a Hop On Hop Off bus which allows you to stop at and view many of the highlights of central Amsterdam. You can use your pass on a carefully designed route allowing you to hop off at 12 points of interest in the city.

The following day, have a tour into the Dutch countryside starting with the picturesque windmill village of Zaanse Schans. Then continue to the lively fishing village of Volendam with visits to a cheese factory and to a museum. There is also a boat ride to the island of Marken where you will meet a clog maker, Afterwards return to Volendam for a delicious seafood lunch.
