No city in the world preserves the legacy of the Renaissance like Florence. This 4 day Florence stopover also takes you outside the city to savour the sights and flavours of Tuscany.

Roam the Tuscan countryside on two wheels, with an escorted bike ride through olive groves and vineyards. Pass by castles and estates, enjoying lunch at a local Chianti winery. On your second full day, try your hand at making some of that pizza and gelato you’ve no doubt been enjoying during your stay. Local chefs teach you how to make these Italian favourites the traditional way, from scratch using the best basic ingredients. The class runs for roughly four hours, leaving you plenty of time for relaxation or sightseeing.

If it’s your first time in Florence, be sure to arrive early or book an extra day to explore the city proper. Though relatively small, Florence so much of what’s wonderful about Italy, from the masterpieces of the Uffizi Gallery to the majestic Duomo to… the list is endless. A short stay is still sure to amaze, but there are enough sights here to keep an avid art lover exploring for weeks.
