Venture to southwestern Ireland to visit Cork, known for its rebellious spirit and gorgeous surroundings. Staying in premium accommodations, you’ll explore the city centre and visit nearby landmarks like Blarney Castle, where you can kiss the Blarney Stone, and Cobh, home to famous docklands and the Titanic Experience.

This 3-day Ireland vacation takes you to Ireland’s second city, Cork, where you’ll stay in premium accommodations and explore nearby landmarks like Blarney Castle.

Your trip to Ireland showcases Cork, located in southwestern Ireland amidst a landscape of quays, docks, and islands. Fondly known as the “real capital of Ireland” by locals (in reference to the city’s defiant stance during the Irish Civil War), Cork has a compact city centre that’s easy to explore on foot and plenty of picturesque Georgian buildings and green waterways to charm visitors. Staying in a premium hotel, you’ll have time to explore the city centre and see remnants of the lovely medieval town interspersed throughout. You’ll also take a day to head to nearby Blarney, where you’ll explore famous Blarney Castle, stroll through its manicured gardens, and even be able to kiss the Blarney Stone. After venturing through the castle, you’ll head to Cobh to visit the Cork docklands and learn about the port’s significance during the wave of Irish emigration during the 18th and 19th centuries. You’ll have some free time in Cobh to visit St. Coleman’s Cathedral and take in the Titanic Experience before heading back to Cork.

This trip to Cork is a great addition to a longer Irish vacation.
