Walk in Florence + Meet David

A pleasant walk in Florence is just what you need to be introduced to the city and its splendor and secular heritage! Get the chance to have a taste of one of the most important and charming cities of UNESCO World Heritage. Walk through the amazing center of Florence and discover its unique secular heritage and breathtaking beauty with an expert and fun tour guide. Our tour explores the historic and architectural evolution factors from the Roman foundation through medieval centuries and its Renaissance glorious period up to modern time Florence. Learn about the Medici: masters of Florence. The Medici family rose to become famous and revered throughout the Western world in the 14th and 15th Century. The Medici came to power at a time of great social and economic inequality. They were great disrupters. Their banking practices led to the creation of a middle class, making them unimaginably wealthy. The Medici in turn used their vast power and resources to challenge traditional thinking, ushering in a new era of revolutionary art and science such as the world had never seen: the Renaissance. It's a powerful story that resonates even now. Our professional guide will take you to some of the most important spots where the greatest minds and artists have stood and been inspired. During this walk, you will see Piazza della Signoria with the town hall Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, the Baptistery with its 'Gates of Paradise', Giotto's independent bell tower, Brunelleschi's Dome, Santa Trinita and Orsanmichele Church, Pontevecchio Bridge and the secret Vasari Corridor, as well as famous shopping streets and the Oltrarno -- the fourth and last district, the manual crafts neighbourhood. Also, stop for a surprise "tasting", a nice and delicious break during your pleasant walk.
Tour also includes the visit to Accademia Gallery

Get aboard the "barchetto", one of the very few traditional wooden boats left in Florence, conducted by a "barcaiolo", a true Florentine tradition holder that will guide the boat with his long-reaching pole. No noisy engines, only the charm of tradition and the voice of your expert guide to unveil the secrets of the Arno river, as you stroll on its calm waters, pass under the magnificent florentine bridges and discover its history and the beautiful Palazzos that frame its ancient riverbed. VIP Siena, San Gimignano and Dinner in Chianti

Enjoy this small-group tour which will let you discover the beauties of Siena, San Gimignano and the Chianti countryside, before admiring the sunset on the Tuscan hills and tasting a typical dinner in a fascinating location. In the ancient times, there was only one city in Tuscany that competed against Florence for power, wealth and artistic beauties: Siena. Starting from Florence, you will be taken to Siena by a comfortable air-conditioned minivan by an English speaking driver and tour leader. Here you will enjoy a guided walking tour of this compact city that will let you discover also Piazza del Campo, the main central square where the famous Palio horse race takes place every year, as well as exploring quieter backstreets and learning everything about the Contrade, the 17 medieval city districts that compete against each other in the Palio. During the visit in Siena you will also have the opportunity to have a surprise tasting of a typical product. The journey continues to San Gimignano, famed for its medieval skyscrapers, high walls and narrow streets that typify most peoples image of a Tuscan hill town. San Gimignano is unique in the preservation of about a dozen of its tower houses, which, with its hilltop setting and encircling walls, form an unforgettable skyline. After some free time in San Gimignano, gaze in awe at a marvellous sunset on the Tuscan hills and then enjoy a typical Tuscan dinner at a boutique winery in the Chianti countryside. During your dinner you will also enjoy a wine tasting, pairing different wines with the various courses of your Tuscan meal.
