Your trip to Ireland is all about Galway, the harbour city on Ireland’s west coast. Located where the Corrib River meets the Atlantic Ocean, Galway is known for its vibrant arts scene and picturesque city centre. Staying in a boutique hotel in the downtown, you’ll be free to stroll the Latin Quarter, stop by pubs and shops off of 18th century Eyre Square, and see the 14th-century St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, where Christopher Columbus is said to have prayed during his lifetime. During your stay, you’ll join experienced local guides for a culinary walking tour that’ll showcase the best of Irish cuisine. As you stroll throughout the city centre, you’ll visit cheese makers, breweries, chocolatiers, and family-run businesses showcasing delicious Irish food and drink. The next day, head south to Dunguarie Castle before exploring the spectacular Cliffs of Moher, which stretch 8km along the coastline and are home to 75 percent of Ireland’s native plants. At the end of your stay, head to the train station to continue your onward journey.

The Cliffs of Moher and Burren Tours from Galway
One of Ireland's must see attractions.Taking you along Galway Bay, your first stop is at the fishing village of Kinvara to see Dunguaire Castle and into The Burren - home to 75% of Ireland's native flora and location of numerous ancient monuments many of which you visit including the Gleninsheen Wedge Tomb, the 5,800 year old Poulnabrone Dolmen and Ballyalban Fairy Fort- home of little men with green hats and orange beards!
Stopping also at Kilfenora to see the famous Celtic Crosses (Irish High Crosses), you will make your way to the coastal village of Doolin for your lunch stop before visiting the 200-metre high, 8kms long Cliffs of Moher. Enjoy stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands and take your time to soak up the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moher. (minimum 1.5 hour stop- FREE admission to Cliffs!) You return via the Coast Road with views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands, making a short stop to walk on the lunar like landscape of the Burren and take in sights such as Leprechaun Head before returning to Galway shortly after 6:00pm
