This 4-day Italy vacation takes you to Venice to see its most popular sites. It features first-class accommodations and a mix of private and small group tours.

Your trip to Italy showcases Venice, the gorgeous city of canals that used to be a world capital of commerce and culture. Built on a lagoon of 117 islands in the Adriatic Sea, Venice remains one of Europe’s most-cherished destinations. Get acquainted with this gorgeous medieval city with a private walking tour that starts in St. Mark’s Square and takes you into hidden corners of the city to see the home of Marco Polo, the Church of San Giovanni e Paolo, commonly referred to as Venice’s Pantheon, and capping off the tour at the Rialto Bridge, which unites the city overtop the Grand Canal. Later that day, enjoy the quintessential Venetian experience of a gondola ride down the Grand Canal and onto side canals to admire the city from the water. The next day, head outside the city to discover the regions of Verona and Amarone and taste some of their celebrated wine vintages. You’ll learn about the real people that inspired Romeo and Juliet and tour a vineyard to learn about Amarone wine.

At the end of your stay, head to the airport to connect to your next destination. Consider exploring more of Italy as this trip to Venice makes a great starting point for a longer Italian vacation.
