Discover the captivating Greek Islands on this cruise through the Aegean. This Greek vacation takes you to sophisticated Mykonos, the Turkish bazaar of Kusadasi, verdant Patmos, Heraklion on Crete, and the enchanting island of Santorini.

This 5-day cruise takes you through the Greek Islands, showcasing the grandeur of ancient Greece as well as the natural splendor of the islands. It’s perfect for history buffs and island vacationers alike.

Your Greek vacation through the Aegean begins in Athens, your port of call where you’ll board the Celestyal Cruise, a fully-equipped cruise ship with three restaurants, five bars, and a swimming pool on its top deck. Consisting of around 6,000 islands, of which 227 are inhabited, the Greek Islands have long been an integral part of Greek culture and tradition and continue to attract people from all over the world. Begin with a journey to the beautiful island of Mykonos, with its charming white houses and narrow streets. Spend the evening enjoying the island’s famous nightlife.

Onboard Celestyal Cruises a multi-award winning cruise line your first stop is Mykonos, the thumping heartbeat of the Cyclades. The island is second-to-none when it comes to nightlife, but it’s also full of high-end restaurants and stunning views that’ll satisfy even more sedate travellers. Continue along the Aegean Sea and pass into Turkish waters to reach Kusadasi, known as the gateway to Ephesus and home to a sprawling bazaar that’s worth exploring.

The next day, arrive at the Turkish resort of Kusadasi, known for its colourful harbour and vibrant covered bazaar. Afterwards, sail to the island of Patmos, forever known as the island where St. John received the visions of the Book of Revelation. Head to the port town of Skala to explore the old medieval stone walls and experience the island's laidback atmosphere.

If you're on the 5-day itinerary, your Greek vacation will include a visit to Rhodes, where the ancient Colossus once stood atop the harbour. The Colossus might be gone, but the island is still home to fascinating historical sites. Stroll the cobblestoned streets of Old Town or explore the Acropolis in Lindos to appreciate Rhodes' historical legacy.

Pass on to Heraklion on the island of Crete, Greece’s largest island. Here you’ll find outstanding architecture ranging from Byzantine to Ottoman. You can survey the walls of Koules Fortress, visit world-class museums like the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, and explore the Palace of Knossos. When you're not exploring history, take advantage of the island's golden beaches, thumping nightclubs, and famous Cretan dishes.

Round out your exploration of the Aegean Sea with a visit to Santorini, the Aegean’s crown jewel and one of the most romantic islands in the world. Take the cable car to the top of the island for exceptional views of the island’s white cliffs and volcanic crater. Optionally, you can also tour nearby Akrotiri, a city which was once buried in a volcanic eruption. That evening, enjoy a spectacular sunset in Oia before returning to Athens the next day.

This cruise across the Aegean Sea is an enchanting journey full of history and natural beauty.
