Goway and Northern Sweden welcomes you to an evening with dinner, aurora borealis and a taste of Sami specialities. The Sami people are a Finno-Ugric people inhabiting Sapmi, which today encompasses large parts of Norway and Sweden, northern parts of Finland, and the Murmansk Oblast of Russia.
Listen to Sami stories and traditions under the Aurora Borealis. You will be met at your hotel, watch a short presentation on the Sami culture and sample a Sami inspired dinner at Camp Ripan. After the dinner head out to a lavvi - a temporary dwelling used by the Sami people - to look for the Northern lights. In the lavvu you get to taste traditional Sami specialities, while your local guide tells you about Sami culture and traditions.
