You’ll embark on a Paris Highlights tour, starting with the Sacre Coeur Basilica, Paris’ Sacred Heart. Day 2

Paris Highlights

The tour begins with free time to stroll through the narrow streets of Montmartre to discover the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris as well as the artists and portrait painters of Place du Tertre. A hill that reaches a height of about 130 meters (427 feet), located in the north of Paris in the eighteenth arrondissement, Montmartre has long been known as the premier artist's enclave in the city.

Next, the driver-guide will take you to the 2nd floor of the Eiffel Tower, where you can admire the magnificent view over Paris. From here you can see Montmartre with the Sacre Coeur, Invalides, or the arc de Triomphe on the Champs Elysees Avenue. Did you know that the Eiffel Tower celebrated its 125 birthday in 2014? It was officially completed in Paris after 2 years, 2 months, and 5 days of construction.

Your excursion ends with a one hour Seine river cruise to admire the monuments. From bridge to bridge and bank to bank, Parisians escort you on foot or on bicycle. You're at the heart of lively Paris, and time will fly by. And if you come back at night, it is another Paris before your eyes yet just as magical.

Dinner Show at the Moulin Rouge

An exciting evening awaits you at the Moulin Rouge, home of the French Cancan dance for more than a century! Here you will discover "Feerie", the successful show of the Moulin Rouge. "Feerie" consists of a troupe of 80 artists (including 60 Doris Girls recruited world-wide), 1000 costumes of feathers, rhinestones and sequins, made in the most famous Parisian workshops, sumptuous sets in shimmering colours, uniquely designed by Italian artists, outstanding international acts, and the awaited return of the giant aquarium! All of this performed to original music recorded by 80 musicians and 60 chorus singers.

Your dinner menu is imagined and made by the Chefs of Maison Dalloyau. On the tables small emblematic red lamps... like glowworms which give this so typical and so warm-hearted atmosphere to the cabaret most known in the world!

Day 3

Giverny and Versailles

Your morning begins with a trip to Giverny for a guided visit of a part of the wonderful gardens. Here you will have free time to explore Claude Monet's house and studio. The home of the Master of Impressionism, now restored, has regained the colours, the furniture, the Japanese prints and the china that Monet loved. The water garden, with its Japanese bridge, water lilies, wisteria and azaleas, recreates the image that so inspired Monet.

The driver-guide will also provide you with the entrance ticket to the new "Musee des Impressionnismes Giverny". The main aim of this museum in Giverny is to promote the international nature of the Impressionist movement with particular attention given to the Giverny colony and the artists of the Seine Valley.

Lunch included at 'the Moulin de Fourges'. You will then continue on and visit Versailles. En route you will have a pleasant drive through the countryside of the Seine Valley. At Versailles you will receive a guided visit of the gardens, as well as a visit to the State Apartments with the Palace of Versailles. On grand occasions, twenty thousand candles and glittering chandeliers would be used to transform the Hall of Mirrors into a "corridor of light".
