FIRST-CLASS | SMALL GROUP: Experience the beauty and culture of Switzerland on this journey across the nation. Heading from Zurich to Interlaken, Lake Geneva, and Zermatt, you’ll take in the mountain air, stroll alongside world-famous lakes, and learn about the history of this alpine nation.

This 6-day Swiss vacation takes you throughout this magical nation, from Zurich to Interlaken, Lake Geneva, and Zermatt.

Your Switzerland vacation begins in Zurich, one of the most livable cities in the world and the centre of Switzerland’s financial industry. Located beside a lake and river, Zurich is picturesque, but it also has a trendy edge to it. Head on a sightseeing tour to see the Old Town and famous Grossmunster, the Evangelical Protestant Church that has been around for nearly a thousand years. After sundown, head to trendy Zuri-West to tap into the city’s burgeoning nightlife.

From Zurich, continue to Lucerne, a small city with massive style. A sightseeing tour will showcase some of the highlights of one of Switzerland’s prettiest old towns, including Chapel Bridge, the famous covered bridge built in 1,333AD. Continue to Engelberg, where you’ll ride the cable car up to Mt. Titlis and gaze upon its glacier, located 3,020m above sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Central Alps before continue to Interlaken, briefly stopping in Brienz to see some of its famous woodcarvings.

Interlaken is surrounded by two cobalt lakes and several towering peaks. It also lies in the shadow of Mt. Jungfrau, one of the country’s most popular mountains. Get a taste of its gorgeous sights before continuing to Bern, the nation’s capital, where you’ll have just enough time to see the Old Town and the clock tower, Zytglogge, with its mechanical astrolabe. From Bern, head to Gruyeres, where you’ll see the medieval castle and have a chance to taste the world-famous cheese that shares the city’s name.

Reach Geneva and experience the picturesque banks of Lake Geneva. Head on to the chic resort town of Montreux to visit Chillon Castle and stroll along the lakeside boulevard with its famous views of the Swiss Riviera. Continue into the Rodano River Valley to reach Tasch, where you’ll board a narrow gauge train and journey to Zermatt, a gorgeous town sitting in the shadow of the Matterhorn, Europe’s most famous mountain. After exploring the town and soaking up the famous views of the Matterhorn, head back to Tasch and journey through the Nufenen Pass to eventually connect back to Zurich.
