FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR-MADE: Combine cultural experiences, sunny skies, and blue waves on this 10-day vacation through France. Tour the City of Light before zipping south to Aix-en-Provence to see the famous Luberon villages. Then reach Nice on the French Riviera and explore its eclectic mix of Roman ruins, glamorous mansions, and spectacular views.

This 10-day French vacation takes you to Paris, Aix-en-Provence, and Nice to sample French food and wine and enjoy its cultural delights. It features first-class accommodations and small-group tours.

Your journey through France begins in Paris, the City of Light and arguably the most popular city on the planet. Take advantage of a Hop-On Hop-Off bus ticket to zip around to popular landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and the Arc de Triomphe, at your own pace. A boat cruise along the Seine will showcase some of the most beautiful views of the city, such as the flying buttresses of Notre Dame. A three-hour walking tour in Montmartre, the city’s bohemian heart, will introduce you to some of the city’s best bakeries and pastry shops. You’ll also head to a cheese cellar for a tasting of an array of delicious cheeses from across the nation, all expertly paired with an appropriate vintage of wine.

Connect south to Aix-en-Provence, where you’ll explore the beautiful Provence region. Join a small group tour to the nearby villages of Luberon where you’ll stroll the cobblestoned medieval streets and admire the castles set against rolling hills. You'll also have the opportunity to visit one of the local markets. The next day, explore Aix-en-Provence itself at leisure. You can trace the art and history of Paul Cezanne or visit landmarks, shops, and restaurants around the tree-lined boulevard Cours Mirabeau.

Continue to Nice, the capital of the French Riviera. Tour the city centre, following the Promenade des Anglais before reaching Excelsior Regina Palace, the winter home of Queen Victoria. Spot ancient Roman ruins, including the famous amphitheatre, before ending in the flower markets and craft stores of the old town. The following day, tour the Rivera, starting at Eze, the medieval town perched on the edge of a rocky outcrop. After seeing the gardens and castle ruins, you’ll continue to La Turbie before reaching Monaco and exploring the billionaire strip of casinos and restaurants known as Monte Carlo.

At the end of your stay, head to the airport or train station in Nice for onward travels.

You will also come across the Monastery of Cimiez and rose garden, the Russian Orthodox Church, the Place Massena, and the "square head" library. Day 9

Monaco, Monte Carlo, Eze and La Turbie

The first stop is the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites of the French Riviera. Dating back from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. The walls of the twelfth century were dismantled in 1706 by the order of Louis XIV. Today you can walk the cobbled streets and reach the top where you can find the exotic garden and the castle ruins. The view is amazing (427 meters high)! Just below the village is the famous Fragonard perfume factory. Then, drive to the small village of La Turbie, also called the "Monaco terrace" because of the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument (50 meters high) named the 'Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to Emperor Augustus, built-in 7 BC on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez. You will then reach the Principality of Monaco for the last stop of today.
