Start your journey in Amsterdam where you board your cruise ship. Later, have a canal cruise to enjoy Amsterdam by night. Sail the next morning through the waterways of Holland. Your first stop is at Kinderdijk, a village in the south of Holland, known for its 18th-century windmills. Its water-management network features 19 mills and 3 pumping stations, plus dikes and reservoirs that control flooding in the polder (low-lying land). Continue to Rotterdam en route to Nijmegen for overnight.

The next day, visit the Kröller-Müller Museum which has the second-largest Van Gogh collection in the world with almost 90 paintings and over 180 drawings. Later, cross into Germany and join the Rhine River eventually arriving in Cologne. The following morning, have a guided tour of the city with its wonderful cathedral and then depart cruising south along the river eventually arriving at Koblenz for overnight.

From Koblenz, continue your journey down the Rhine to Rudesheim. Today, you will have the choice of two excursions, one to travel by train to the various wine regions in the near vicinity and visit the Museum of Mechanical Musical Instruments in Rudesheim or to hike through the vineyards of Rudesheim. Later head northward to Boppard where you will spend overnight with a guided tour of the town.

The following morning, cruise to the city of Dusseldorf arriving midday. On arrival, enjoy a walking tour of the city. Moor overnight in Dusseldorf.

Your final day of cruising brings you back to Amsterdam. En route, stop at the wonderful flower gardens of Keukenhof Park (open from mid-March to mid-May). On arrival at Amsterdam, have a tour of the city including a visit to a diamond factory. Or, as an option, enjoy a bike tour of Amsterdam.

Disembark the next morning to end your cruise.
