Before starting the walking tour, you will be transported to the Prague Castle by bus. You will then start with an interior tour of the castle, including the Royal Palace, St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica and Golden Lane. On the basis of archaeological research and the oldest written sources it is thought that Prague Castle was founded around the year 880 by Prince Borivoj of the house of Premyslides. The early medieval castle site was fortified with a moat and a rampart of clay and stones. Your guide will make sure to talk about the historical moments in all these areas of the castle. You will then head through lesser town and to Charles Bridge where the tour ends.
