MODERATE | TAILOR-MADE: Spend time in the impressively beautiful and historic city of Prague. Become acquainted with its many highlights such as the largest ancient castle in the world and an iconic Gothic bridge with 30 ornate Baroque statues all while staying in deluxe accommodations.
Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic. This magical city of bridges, cathedrals, gold-tipped towers and church domes is mirrored on the surface of the swan-filled Vltava River. Almost undamaged by WWII, Prague's medieval centre remains a wonderful mixture of cobbled lanes, walled courtyards, cathedrals and countless church spires all in the shadow of her majestic 9th century castle.
On arrival, check into your hotel of choice for a 3 night stay and immediately begin your exploration of Prague with a bus tour which will include the Rudolfinum, an impressive concert hall and home to the Czech Philharmonic, the Municipal House, another outstanding concert hall, the Powder Tower, one of the original city gates dating back to the 11th Century, the Opera House, the National Museum with its several million items, Wenceslas Square, site of many historic events, the Dancing House, a very non-traditional architectural structure co-designed by Vlado Milunic and Frank Gehry and the famous Charles Bridge with its 30 baroque statues and which connects Old Town with Lesser Town
From here, begin a walking tour, first to the awe-inspiring Hradcany/Prague Castle dating back to the 9th Century and the largest ancient castle in the world. Then it’s on to the baroque Loreta Church and St. Vitus Cathedral with its lookout tower, part of the castle precincts and the most important church in the country. Cross over the Charles Bridge and finish up in Old Town.
The Czech Republic is the country where modern beer (pivo in Czech) was invented (in Plzen). So it is fitting to visit the Pilsner Urquell Brewery in Plzen, 90 kilometres/55 miles from Prague in the afternoon. Spend time leaning the beer making process.
The next two days are free to explore this wonderful colourful city on your own.

Four Seasons Hotel Prague interweaves centuries of remarkable history and architecture with all the conveniences of modern technology. In the middle of vibrant Old Town Prague, experience an enclave at the edge of the Vltava River, just steps from the Charles Bridge. While some cities are renowned for one particular architectural style, the beauty of Prague lies in its incredible mingling of styles and eras. Four Seasons Hotel Prague has achieved a similar marriage of architectural styles, bringing together three historic structures and one new one, to create a unified building that is cohesive while still respecting the unique beauty of each style represented.
