Northern Lights Boat Tour

Hunting the northern lights from ground is an amazing experience, but to sail out from the coast and see the auroras dancing above the city lights is a remarkable sight - and a totally different experience. That is exactly what is being offered in this new northern lights tour. In this approx. 2.5 hour long tour, you'll take a trip from the Reykjavik pier to witness the coastline of the capital. You will be taken far enough so the city lights will not affect the chances of seeing the northern lights, but yet you will always have the city as the background view. Now, that's an amazing sight - and also a very romantic one! When the northern lights forecast looks good - but it is too windy to go out on sea - we will still take you out for a northern lights tour on a bus - plus a chance to join the boat tour on the next available day!
