Your journey begins in Porto, the town synonymous with Portugal’s famous fortified wine, where you’ll connect into the Douro Valley and Monverde Wine Experience Hotel. This 4-star property located in Quinta de Sanguinhedo outside Porto is your base for a few days at leisure. Enjoy spacious accommodations and impeccable amenities on-site, including a celebrated restaurant and a nature spa that promises to rejuvenate you in calm environments. Spend your days exploring nearby towns and attractions, such as the Bridge Sao Goncalo and the Amadeo de Souza Cardoso Museum, and visiting wineries to discover all the flavours of Port wine.

You’ll see Jeronimos Monastery and Belem Tower in the light of day before heading into the narrow streets of Alfama to experience a traditional part of the city. Swing by Lisbon Cathedral and St. Jorge Castle before ending the tour at the Parque das Nacoes near the Tejo River, a relatively-new district that was built to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Vasco de Gama visiting India.
