Prices From:
US$ 982

Discover the charms and unique beautiful coastal scenery of this idyllic coastal region known for its 5 attractive villages which make up the Cinque Terre. Enjoy scenic walks through vineyards and olive groves while taking in amazing panoramic views.

The Cinque Terre is a string of centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. See colorful houses and ancient vineyards which cling to steep terraces and fishing boats bobbing in harbours. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Check into your hotel in Romaggiore which will be your base during your exploration of the area. Each night you will have dinner here. You will also have a picnic lunch on the days you are on a walking tour. Romaggiore is known for its historic character and its wine. You have time today to explore its narrow streets and take in the fantastic views of the sea.

The following morning, take a boat to Porto Venere, a beautiful and lively village with an impressive fortress. Later, walk high above the village en route back to Romaggiore.
Next day is a walk to Vernazza, a village with no vehicular traffic and a true fishing village.

The next day is another walk to Vernazza reached after a steep climb visiting the church of San Bernadino. Continue through vineyard and olive groves to Manarola eventually arriving back at Romaggiore.

The following day, take a local train and after, walk up to the village of Monterosso where you will have amazing views of stunning scenery. Monterosso is the only town in the Cinque Terre with a sandy beach.

Your last full day includes a walk on the coastal path to Levanto with its charming old streets. This village is known for its medieval castle and numerous old churches.
This will complete your in-depth itinerary of the beautiful Cinque Terre.
