DELUXE | CRUISE: Explore the delights of the Adriatic on this memorable Croatia cruise aboard a Deluxe cruise vessel. Set out from the famous walls of Dubrovnik, visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites and some of Europe’s most beautiful islands.
This 8-day cruise from Dubrovnik showcases the highlights of the Adriatic coast, including Dubronik, Split, and Korcula, before finishing in Zadar.
Begin with a walking tour of Dubrovnik, taking in the main sights before a relaxing lunch aboard ship. By afternoon, you will arrive at Mljet Island, a natural treasure trove of forests, bird life, and unspoiled lakes. Your next port is Korcula, thought to be the birthplace of Marco Polo. A morning walking tour will give you time to unravel its mysteries for yourself. More stories await on Hvar, home to Europe’s very first public theatre (Sorry, Shakespeare!), and a wonderful choice of restaurants.
Split is one of the must-see cities of the Adriatic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and home to the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. Surrounded by remnants of the Renaissance and Gothic eras, along with ancient sites, you’ll have the full evening to explore this fascinating city. Another World Heritage site awaits you at Trogir, a town located just across the bay from Split with its own fascinating history.
Your next destination, the Sibenik region, offers you the chance to immerse yourself in nature, exploring the waterfalls and trails of two national parks. The Kornati Achipelago is here as well, boasting over 140 islands. A Captain’s dinner brings this spectacular day to an end. But you still have one more full day aboard ship. Spend it enjoying a swim in the sparkling waters of the Adriatic, then take a walking tour around Zadar, another beautiful walled city with a strong Venetian legacy and Dalmantia’s largest Cathedral.
Transfer to the Zadar or Split airport for departure, take a ferry to Italy, or continue your trip through the Balkans.
