FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR MADE: Los Angeles is a city constantly set to impress with its movie, television and music industry. Under its glamorous surface and glorious sunshine, you'll find a rich cultural heritage, a fabulous food scene, and magnificent views from the Hollywood Hills. No Southern California vacation is complete without a few days in the City of Angels.
Spend 4 days getting to grips with the megacity that is Los Angeles, from its familiar glamour to its long, inviting Pacific beaches, to its exciting nightlife.
There's so much to explore in LA! But we won't lie; without a car, it's not the easiest city to get around. A half-day tour makes things easier, taking in highlights such as Hollywood, Paramount Studios, the Greek Theatre, Rodeo Drive, and Griffith Observatory. Hear the stories of the Sunset Strip andstretch your legs at sunny Santa Monica pier. Your tour begins and ends on Hollywood Boulevard. Avoid the tourist traps and find your favourite star on the Walk of Fame, take a tour of Grauman's Chinese Theatre, or catch a classic film in its predecessor, the Egyptian Theatre. The Hollywood Museum is another great spot to lose yourself in movie and TV history.
It's hard to appreciate the enormity of LA from the ground. A helicopter tour takes you along California's coast where city and ocean meet. You'll soon understand what draws so many people to LA beyond star power. With the rest of your day at leisure, you might head Downtown to explore the Walk Disney Concert Hall and the Broad Museum, shop up a storm on Rodeo Drive, or peer into LA's prehistoric past and artistic future at La Brea Tar Pits and LACMA, conveniently located next to one another. If it's all about the movies for you, consider a tour at one of the famous studios, or a day of thrills at Universal Studios, Hollywood.
We recommend a late flight on your final day to make the most of your time in LA.
