FIRST-CLASS | TAILOR MADE: New York is called the city that never sleeps and is for many the most exciting place on the planet. It is, without doubt, intoxicating, irresistible, exhilarating and one of a kind. Filled with famous iconic sights, impressive skyscrapers and, of course, lots of people you have three nights to explore landmarks and intriguing neighborhoods. The Statue of Liberty, Fifth Avenue, Central Park, the Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, and the United Nations are among the big names, but don’t forget Harlem, Greenwich Village, Gramercy and Chelsea.
Come ‘be a part of it’ over 4 days with this ideal first-timer’s trip to New York City. Combining flexibility with first-class accommodation just off Times Square, explore your way with a hop-on hop-off sightseeing ticket and more.
Arrive as early as possible and give yourself time to acclimate to the energy of the Big Apple. Head into the madness that is Times Square, swing by TKTS for discounted same-day tickets to Broadway’s hottest shows, then unwind, glimpsing the tops of Manhattan’s skyscrapers from the serenity of Central Park. If you have time, zip to the Top of the Rock or the Empire State Building observation deck for an unbeatable view.
Your first full day gives you access to both the Uptown and Downtown loops of New York’s Hop-On Hop-Off sightseeing bus. Take in the city from the open rooftop deck, and stop at the sights that interest you. Whether it’s the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim, MOMA, the Brooklyn Bridge, the moving 9/11 Memorial and Museum, the innovative gardens along the High Line, or the energy of neighbourhoods like Greenwich Village or Harlem, your options are endless… and that’s just Manhattan!
Included the following day is your ticket to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. This fascinating museum gives you an insight into the lives of the immigrants who shaped the United States as we know it today through both their hardships and joys. When you’re done, you might want to fill in more of their story at the Lower East Side’s Tenement Museum or cross the Brooklyn Bridge to DUMBO, where you can explore the city’s freshest art scene.
There’s so much to see and do in NYC, four days will only scratch the surface. But we recommend taking the latest flight home possible to maximize sightseeing on your last day!

Half Day Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour
Discover the famous Statue of Liberty on a guided tour and ferry ride. Enjoy early access to Liberty Island, see clear views of the iconic New York skyline, and explore Ellis Island.
Begin your day at The Battery (formerly known as Battery Park), the historical gateway to Lady Liberty. Board the earliest ferry of the day (if you choose the earliest tour time) to avoid the crowds of tourists and sail away from Manhattan to greet the Statue of Liberty.
Disembark at Liberty Island and join your guide on a walking tour of the island to learn the origins of the iconic Statue of Liberty. As you walk, take in views of the famed New York skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. Wander through the Statue of Liberty Museum and see Lady Liberty's original torch.
Next, board the short ferry to Ellis Island. Hear a brief introduction about the Island's historical significance and get recommendations on what to do on the island from your guide. Then, explore this special place at your own pace.
Wander the site, enjoy the official audio guide, search the passenger records for family names, or pause for a quick bite to eat at the popular cafeteria. Either return to Manhattan with your guide on the ferry or stay to explore the island as long as you wish.
