See the sea lions of Pier 39 and take a boat tour to Alcatraz Island. Wander the Palace of Fine Arts or snap a perfect picture of the Golden Gate Bridge from Crissy Field.
Don't wear your legs out. Then discover North Beach, the city’s Italian quarter with its romantic sidewalk cafes. Francis Ford Copolla wrote The Godfather here, so of course, a pizza and wine is a must. The Beat poets shaped their voices in this neighbourhood too, in case you want to choose something appropriate to read.
There's no schedule for your last San Francisco day, so use it to pick up any sights you missed, graze your way through the food hall at the Ferry Terminal, explore the history and awesome Latin American eats in the Mission district, or embark on a day trip to Sonoma, or even Yosemite if you're up for a long day. Alternatively, set out on Hwy 1 to Monterey, then follow the dramatic, coastline all the way to LA if your heart desires. That is, if you didn't leave it in San Francisco.
