Saint John Tours, Vacations & Travel Packages
Saint John is a seaport city of the Atlantic Ocean located on the Bay of Fundy in the Canadian east coast province of New Brunswick. It is the oldest incorporated city in Canada (1785) and the province’s second-largest city.
Saint John, famous for the world’s largest tides, can claim an undisputably vibrant, visitor-friendly culture that reverberates around this small town. The base for the ferry across the Bay of Fundy, Saint John’s historic streets and architecture reflect elements of its colonial past. It’s worth a visit to Carleton Martello Tower, one of nine remaining small defensive forts built by the British.
Restaurant patios offer beautiful views and fresh ocean breezes, making for a relaxing holiday. Shop at Market Square or book a Saint Jog=hn walking history tour.
Visit a small museum (attractions include Fort Howe, Loyalist House, and the New Brunswick Museum), or take a trip to the famous Reversing Falls – a trick of the tide that (at certain times) reverses the water’s current. Irving Nature Park is nearby the urban center, with a delightful wooden park with groomed trails and fabulous views of the Fundy coastline. Or take a day trip to Fundy National Park, one of the last remaining wilderness areas in southern New Brunswick.
