MS Nikolay Chernishevsky

MS Nikolay Chernishevsky: Motorship “Nikolay Chernishevsky” is a comfortable four-deck vessel (type 301). Built-in Germany in 1981, and refurbished in 2012, the motorship is equipped with modern navigational facilities and exceeds the speed of 26 km per hour. Length – 125 m, Width – 16.7 m, Immersion – 2.9 m, and can accommodate up to 254 people.

Includes: Restaurant, Night club-restaurant, Piano bar, Coffee bar, Solarium, Ironing room, Sauna, Medical room, Souvenir store, and Conference hall. Welcome “bread and salt” ceremony, Captain’s welcome cocktail, fitness classes, on board entertainment including Russian language course, Russian songs lessons, live music concerts, dancing music, and Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

Single cabins have a single bed, a large scenic window, equipped with private facilities, heating and air conditioning, a refrigerator, wardrobe, console-mirror, 220 volt socket, and radio. Twin cabins have two single beds and the Triple cabins have 3 single beds, but can be used for double accommodation as one of the beds is a foldaway bed.

Junior Suites B – four twin beds (two lower and two upper foldaway beds) with two large scenic windows, equipped with private facilities, heating and air conditioning, refrigerator, wardrobe, occasional table, TV/video, 220 volt socket, radio. Can accommodate either 2, 3 or 4 guests..

Junior Suites A - furnished with a double bed, 3 scenic windows, equipped with private facilities, heating and air conditioning, refrigerator, 220 volt socket, wardrobe, occasional table, cushioned furniture, radio, and TV/video. Can accommodate up to 3 people with an extra folding bed.

Premium Suites - a king size bed, separate lounge area, equipped with private facilities, heating and air conditioning, 220 volt sockets, radio, 4 large scenic windows. Lounge area is furnished in a stylish way with a roomy wardrobe, occasional table, cushioned furniture, console-mirror, TV/video, and a refrigerator. Suite can accommodate up to 3 people with an extra folding bed.

Dining: Waking up in the morning you will enjoy a lovely buffet style breakfast offering numerous and diverse dishes to satisfy every taste. At the buffet you will find a variety of local Russian and European cuisine. Russians attach great importance to soups and they are regarded as “the most nutritious meal,” with cabbage soup being the most famous in Russia. At lunch, you will get to enjoy the most popular and delicious soups on board! The choice menu will allow you to pick the dishes you prefer ranging from: succulent meat, delectable fish or scrumptious vegetables, one of the famous Russian soups or European cream soup, ice cream, seasonal fruit or luscious cake for dessert. Every dinner on board the ship will turn into interesting entertainment!

You’ll also have a chance to try traditional Slavic and Ukranian dishes, and our high professional waiters, dressed in national costumes will be happy to serve them to you! Food, decorations and other paraphernalia create a special atmosphere so that you can imagine yourself being a guest of Russian esquire in XVIII century!

The culmination feast is the Captain’s dinner when a special menu will be available. Onboard cooks always do their best, but on this special day they will surpass themselves so that you will remember this dinner for a long time!

MS Rostropovich (also known as AmaKatarina), named after famous Russian cellist and conductor Mstislav Rostropovich, is one of the most luxurious ships on the Russian waterways which can be compared to a 5* hotel. It is a top-range four-deck vessel built-in 1980 in Czechoslovakia and completely redesigned and renovated in 2009.

This modern ship is equipped with high-tech navigational facilities. It has several cabin categories ranging from standard double cabins to the most luxurious imperial suites. All ship cabins are outward facing with a big picture window and provide the bathroom with a separate shower, individually controlled air-conditioning, mini-fridge, hairdryer, safe, flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels. Most cabins have outside balconies. Extra spacious suites have a separated sitting area with a sofa and chairs

The ship's public areas include an expansive panorama lounge with a bar; a conference hall for onboard lectures and entertainment; a fitness room with solarium, a hair salon, medical room with the onboard doctor. There is a lift serving all decks. Wi-Fi access is available in the panorama lounge (fees apply).
