DELUXE | TAILOR-MADE: Experience the natural wonders of Botswana and extraordinary game viewing on this safari to three celebrated game reserves. Connecting to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, and Chobe National Park, you’ll search for lions, elephants, and cheetahs, while enjoying deluxe accommodations.

This 9-day Botswana vacation showcases the breadth of the country’s wilderness with safaris in Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, Moremi Game Reserve, and Chobe National Park. It features deluxe accommodations, private transfers, small-group tours, and is an excellent option for travellers wanting to explore Botswana.

Your journey begins in the gateway city, Maun, where you’ll board a small aircraft and fly into Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, an arid landscape of salt pans and dry savannah in the country’s northeast. At the 4-star camp of Leroo La Tau on the western edge of the park, you’ll stay in a thatched chalet with incredible views over the riverbed where animals congregate. You’ll have two full days of game drives in Makgadikgadi Pans to see the large numbers of zebras and wildebeest that live in the park. You’ll also have a good chance of seeing lions, Chobe bushbuck, leopards, cheetahs, brown and spotted hyenas, and impala.

After exploring the sun-bleached reaches of the Makgadikgadi Pans, you’ll fly into the Okavango Delta and Camp Xakanaxa, a 5-star camp on the banks of the Khwai River in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve. This intimate camp offers year-round access to the waters and lands of the park and 12 spacious canvas tents made up in the Meru-style that have private viewing decks to see the wealth of game that pass through the camp. You’ll spend two full days exploring Moremi Game Reserve. Head on game drives to spot elephants, buffalos, hyenas, and giraffes in the bush, or opt for a boat cruise to see hippos in the water or the vast number of birds that live along riverbeds.

On the final leg of your journey across Botswana, you’ll fly to Kasane and connect to Chobe National Park, along the banks of the Chobe River on the country’s northern border. Chobe is known for having some of the largest populations of elephants in the world. Staying at the 5-star Chobe Game Lodge, you’ll enjoy tasteful accommodations and beautiful views over the Chobe River. Spend a day heading on two game drives, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon, to see the elephants and many other fascinating animals that live in Chobe National Park. You can also head on a sunset cruise along the Chobe River to appreciate the landscape bathed in magical light.

After one last game drive on your final morning, you’ll depart and connect to your onward destination.
