Full Day city tour of Delhi with your Goway Guide

Start your day with experiential Pigeon Flying (Kabootar Bazi) for two hours.
In this experience you will be introduced to the art of pigeon flying by a kabootarbaz (pigeon fancier). First you will explore the lanes and markets around the Jama Masjid. From there you will head on to meet our pigeon fancier. It is here, on the rooftop of his home, that you will experience a truly unique activity - the art of controlling 50 pigeons using a whistle, stick, and a bag of seeds.

Then you will have an experiential Rickshaw Ride exploring Chandni Chowk, Asia's largest wholesale market, a massive area packed with shops, bazaars, and people. Drive past the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Also visit the Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.

You will have time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (optional)

Later proceed towards New Delhi, which reflects the legacy the British left behind. The first stop will be a UNESCO World Heritage site - Qutub Minar, the second tallest minar in India. The tour to Imperial Delhi will also include a drive past of India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch, the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings, and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India.

After all the fun and sightseeing return to your hotel and enjoy some time to relax.

Check-out and leave for Railway station to board the direct train to Agra. Your Goway Guide will be travelling with you over the same train.

Your guide will assist you in deboarding the train.

Proceed straight for the visit of the massive Agra Fort - a UNESCO World Heritage site, is also known as Red Fort of Agra.

After the visit, drive to your hotel and check in and relax.

Enjoy the rest of the day your leisure.

Early morning set out to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) is regarded as the best example of Mughal architecture and a symbol of India's rich history.
Return to your hotel and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast you will visit the Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum built for the grandfather of the Mumtaz Mahal, who the Taj Mahal was in turn built for. the tomb colloquially known as the "jewel box", or the "Baby Taj".

After the sightseeing return back to your hotel and perhaps enjoy a spot of lunch at the hotel or a nearby restaurant.

Later in the afternoon proceed for Best of Agra; highlights and hidden gems (Discovering Oriental Agra).

What you will experience
This program will showcase not just heritage monuments but also the city's culture, cuisine, craft and life of the local people. Journey winds its way through the narrow lanes of Agra, where still stand the grand havelies of yesteryear, the oriental markets of Kinari Bazaar, Lohar Gali and spice street of Rawat Para.

The Discovering Oriental Agra program is conducted by eco-friendly battery-operated rickshaws. The journey will cover several important places in the city.

Enjoy a scrumptious Breakfast at hotel.

Start the journey towards Jaipur (5 hrs.). Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri which is the deserted red sandstone city, built by Emperor Akbar as his capital.

Stop enroute for a lunch at a local restaurant, we continue our drive to Jaipur.

Upon arrival at Jaipur, check into your hotel & relax.

After breakfast visit the hilltop fortress at Amber.
Drive back to Jaipur city.

Then visit the city Palace, which is an overwhelming complex of exquisite palaces, gardens and courtyards, decorative art and carved doorways.

Enjoy Lunch at local restaurant

Afterwards visit Jaipur's Jantar Mantar is the most famous of five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh in India.

Also have an experiential home visit, enjoy tea and some local snacks dressed in traditional India clothing.

After the sightseeing return to your hotel & relax.

Reach airport and proceed with check-in formalities. Your Goway guide will assist you with all formalities at airport. Board flight for Varanasi via Ahmedabad

Arrive Varanasi airport and then you will be transferred to the hotel for check-in.

You will reach your hotel, have time for dinner and then relax.

The Far North (Walking Tour): We pass the old British riverside fort foundations moving toward the ancient Trilochana temple & iconic Gai ghat Nandi statue, then into the lanes of the old Southern Gate of the city ending at Rajghat and the Varana River confluence at Adi Keshava Temple.

The people who live past Panch Ganga Ghat typically never interact with tourists and their days pass as they did 100 years ago. Come and discover life as it used to be in the far North.

The walk continues to the primordial waters where life began and completes with an observation of the sacred fire of Shiva at Manikarnika Ghat, the large cremation ground of Varanasi

Afternoon proceed for cooking session with a Family (Includes lunch)

Learn how to cook some delicious Indian food with some friendly locals. Understand how to expertly use spices (not just the hot spicy ones!), make delicious curries, and bake the perfect chapatti. And at the end, relish it with the family over some hearty conversations. Also included with the meal is a chai/herbal tea, a dessert, and bucket-full of Indian hospitality!

In the evening proceed for witness Aarti ceremony by shared boat ride
We will catch an early-evening boat ride to admire the amazing Ganga Aarti held daily at Dasashwamedha Ghat followed by High Tea at boat itself. We will listen to the stories and legends of the rituals that have been used for centuries inside temples and in shrines along the river.
