Start by exploring La Paz, located right at the foot of the Andes. While the city is fascinating just to wander at leisure, a full day city tour includes stops at Murillo Square and the Witches Market, where spirituality and commerce meet in a market unlike any other. You’ll also trek out to the bizarre alien landscapes of the Moon Valley.
From the moon to the sun, cross Lake Titicaca, the world’s highest navigable lake, to Sun Island. Here, you’ll learn about traditional life past and present this high in the Andes. The island is also considered the birthplace of the Inca Empire. Drink from its fountain to be blessed with health and luck! Your next stop, Uyuni, shows off Bolivia at its most remote and beautiful. Its real claim to fame is the nearby salt plain. More than just a natural wonder, this 12,000 square kilometre expanse is home to numerous industries and a surprising variety of wildlife. Where else can you stay in a hotel built almost entirely out of salt bricks (as you will on this night)?
Journey back across the salt flats, overnighting at a comfortable hotel in the Lipez gaps. Then cross the geyser field of Sol de Manana and see the surrealcolours of Laguna Verde before spending one last night in Uyuni, where you can reflect on your spectacular trip, or visit the National Museum of Archaeology to fill in any gaps before you depart.

Full Day La Paz City Tour
La Paz is the political capital of Bolivia and main tourist destination, due to its strategic geographical position in the foothills of the Andes Range and a great connecting hub with southern Peru and northern Argentina and Chile. It's a city of contrasts, authenticity and alive, that geographically goes from the high part at 4,000m through the forming valley down to 3,200m.
You'll walk through typical markets to see the regional production, traditions and believes in the Witches Market and the art and craft, rich in weavings, jewelry, ceramic and clothing.
Also visit the colonial part of town, some museums, the cathedral, the government and legislative palace in the main Murillo square, to finally cross the modern part of town towards the Valley of the Moon. Visit the extraordinary Moon Valley and enjoy its amazing geological formations.

Arrive Sun Island
Enjoy a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca while travelling by private transportation to Copacabana, a charming town on the shore of Lake. On arrival there, visit a church and the famous "Virgen Morena". Then, continue your journey by boat to the Sun Island. Upon reaching Huacani, you will have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands). The trip will proceed to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple. Finally, hike to La Estancia with a lovely view of Lake Titicaca.
