Nashville Whiskey & Country Music

Upon arrival at the Nashville Airport, you will be met by a Goway Representative and transfer to your hotel.

This evening, enjoy dinner at The Music of Nashville dinner show at Nashville Palace. Discover 60 years of Nashville’s favorite songs and hear some of the stories behind classics made famous by musicians from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, and Dolly Parton to George Strait, Garth Brooks, and Wynona Judd.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then meet your guide and depart for your city tour through Music City. Start with an orientation of the city, passing by sites such as Ryman Auditorium, Johnny Cash Museum, Germantown, The Gulch, Tootsies, and Music Row.

Our first stop is the the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Situated in the heart of downtown Nashville, this beautifully modern facility is known as the “Smithsonian of country music,” offering 350,000 square feet of dynamic, state-of-the-art galleries, archival storage, educational classrooms, retail stores, restaurants, and special event space—all with a stunning view of the rest of Music City.

Next, stop at the Grand Ole Opry House. Go behind the curtain at Nashville’s premier country music stage, the world-renowned Grand Ole Opry, on this guided backstage tour. Walk in the footsteps of countless country music superstars and get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at this legendary venue and show that made country music famous.

This evening, discover Nashville's thriving nightlife scene during a pub crawl. Enjoy craft cocktails, local brews, and samples of authentic Tennessee Moonshine as you listen to entertaining tidbits and stories from your guide. Locations covered include the iconic Honky Tonk's on Broadway and a speakeasy-style Gin Mill in trendy Printers Alley.

Enjoy an early breakfast at the hotel, then depart for your day tour of Memphis. See the home of Elvis Presley, aka the King, and take a guided 1-hour tour of Sun Studios. Enjoy some free time to explore Beale Street and the Peabody Hotel before returning to Nashville.

After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and depart for the historic city of Lynchburg. First, visit the historic Jack Daniel’s Distillery. After touring the distillery, you’ll head to the tasting room in historic Barrelhouse 1-14 and taste whiskey drawn from individual barrels. Enjoy some free time in Lynchburg, then return to your hotel. 

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then depart for your full day Tennessee Whiskey experience. As the first state to pass a Prohibition law, Tennessee’s distilleries in the hills and hollers basically owned the market from 1838 until 1933, when the 21st Amendment to the US Constitution was finally passed and ratified. After more than 80 years of Post-Prohibition freedom, join us for a journey back in time - heck, some of these counties are still dry - and sample the finest old and new batch recipes in the nation. Visit three distilleries with tastings. Return to your hotel with the remainder of your day at leisure.

This evening, cruise on Nashville's Cumberland River aboard one of the country's largest paddle-wheel boats, the 'General Jackson Showboat', enjoying the scenery on the riverbanks as well as live entertainment.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the Nashville Airport for your return flight home.
