Northbound |
| Depart Brisbane at 3.45pm on Monday & Friday and arriving Cairns at 4.40pm on Tuesday & Saturday. |
Southbound |
| Departing Cairns at 8.05am on Wednesday & Sunday and arriving Brisbane at 9.00am on Thursday & Monday |
In the second half of 2014, The Sunlander train will be retired and the final new/refurbished Spirit of Queensland trains will be introduced. At that time Brisbane to Cairns and v.v services will increase to 6 return services per week, the exact date for this is still to be advised.
